    • Ronald (Jarrett) Burrell:Aurora, CO. RAF Bentwaters. AGE Troop, 1961-65 and 1981-86. Married to Pam from Snape. Four daughters born from Rendlesham, Suffolk to Christchurch, New Zealand. Was he on ACTIVE DUTY or what? Known to jump fences at Wantisden Church and get caught. What do you think? (See Maureen & Jims Page). Some names that come to mind from the early 1960's.     • A2C Delmont Curry: RAF Bentwaters. Friend, lived in the Nissen huts in Site 7. Flew back to McGuire AFB with Jim Tansey and family. Sat in the 3rd seat and was asked to move as the seat was reserved for the baby!

    • Lt Colonel (later General) Daniel 'Chappie' James, Jr: 91st Squadron Cmdr who went on to fame as a (Picture and Article)General and died of a heart attack. Visit 'Chappie's Grave at Arlington National Cemetery.

    • Alan A. Reisinger: Columbus, OH. Son of Major Chuck Reisinger (above). Chuck was stationed RAF Bentwaters 1960-63. Died from heart attack August 1970. Then living in Anadarko, OK. Was out inspecting Indian reservation at the time. One month before my son Adrian was born. I am now In Socorro, NM working for the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Have a Masters Degree in Procurement Management and have been negotiating contracts worldwide for twenty years. Rose now lives in California. Address: 1101 Sean/ Socorro, NM 87801. I worked at the Airmans and NCO clubs at RAF Bentwaters. Worked in the kitchen but also tended bar when they needed extra help. Oh yeah! My younger brother lives on the South rim of the Grand Canyon. He is a quadriplegic. He broke his neck diving into the lake at Elephant Butte NM several years ago. He can be reached at Larry Reisinger. He has some old footage (super 8) of the radio controlled airplane club at RAF Bentwaters. 4/28/99
      Update: I was in E-mail touch with for years until Alan suffered a stroke while living in Arizona. Have no further information on his condition as he was in a nursing home. (Info from Chuck VanAlan)
